Anyone recognize what’s on this fish? It’s a black clown and a white clown sold as a pair, but I’m concerned of their condition… and yes I have seen the aptasia in the tank also

Looks like a bacterial or fungal infection to me. Also could be from fighting with another clownfish? I’ve had success treating a clownfish with a similar looking issue by using Kanaplex from Seachem.

Thanks for the reply, I wondered if it was fighting aswell it was together with one other clown. But seemed in ruff shape. The aptasia was not a good indicator of their pest control anyway :/

I'd highly recommend asking on the HumbleFish forums. They have quite a few fish disease experts over there.

Ich would have spots, Brook kills within a couple days. How long has it been like this?

Last time I went to the lfs, they were gone. They told me they were sold off but I doubt that. Kind of a bummer, I really don’t trust them now, I was so happy to have found a store near me with a bit of reef livestock, but if everything I get from them is infected that’s a bummer.
