Preciso de ajuda… meu aquário foi completamente tomado por algas.. não sei o que eu preciso fazer. Meus peixes parecem bem, mas o aquário tá horrível. Tem alguma dica do que eu preciso fazer? Não consigo dizer se é ciano ou dino’s.. pedi um microscópio pra tentar identificar o que é pra tomar as medidas certas. Alguma dica?
Need some help.. my tank has been completely overrun by algae.. not sure what I need to do. My fish seem fine, but the tank looks atrocious. Any tips on what I need to do? I can’t tell if this is cyano or dino’s.. ordered a microscope to try and identify what this is to take the appropriate steps. Any tips?

Parece ciano. Dá pra salvar sim. Usa um sifão pra sugar ele das pedras, deve sair fácil. TPA semanais. Alguns caracóis nassarius e conchas tigre pra ajudar a revirar a cama de areia. Um wave maker um pouco mais baixo no aquário pra ter mais fluxo na areia. Em alguns meses você consegue virar isso.
Looks like cyano. You can definelty save this. Use a syphon to suck it off the rocks it should come off easily. Weekly water changes. Some nassarius snails and tiger conches to help much up the sand bed. Having a wave maker a little lower in the tank to have more flow on the sandbed. Over a few months you can turn this around

Water changes, run heavy carbon and GFO. Are you using RO/DI for your top off?

Adiciona um pouco de GFO, suga com um conta-gotas tipo o Billy falou. TPA forte. Verifica seus cartridges de RO. Silica passando pode causar ciano. Também dá pra tentar um ciclo escuro de 3 dias. Dá pra recuperar sim em algumas semanas com um pouco de trabalho diário, mas precisa achar a causa por trás.
Add some GFO, suck it out with a baster like Billy said. Heavy water changes. Check your RO cartridges. Silica getting through can cause cyano. Can also try a 3 day dark cycle. You can definitely bring this back in a few weeks with a little daily work, need to find the underlying cause though.

Definitivamente ciano… suga e troca um pouco de água… quais são seus nutrientes mesmo? Mesmo que o teste não conte a verdade, porque a maior parte fica presa na bactéria. Se não funcionar, parte pra chemiclean.
Definitely cyano… suck it out and change some water… what’s your nutrients at even though the test won’t tell the truth since most is locked up in the bacteria. If that doesn’t work hit it with chemiclean.

Eu já suguei tudo. O aquário ficou bom, mas vou deixar as luzes apagadas até quinta ou sexta. Os nutrientes ficaram bons. Olhei hoje.
I’ve got it all sucked out. Tank looks good, but leaving the lights off till Thursday or so. Nutrients turned out good. Checked them today

Ainda não sei o que causou o problema que eu tô tendo agora. Não quero ligar as luzes de novo e ele voltar com tudo.
I’m still not sure what caused it the issue I’m currently having. I don’t want to turn the lights back on and it come back swinging.

Coloca alguns anfípodes, eles ajudam a comer as algas, seja lá o que for. Também dá pra tentar ficar com as luzes apagadas por uma semana ou mais. Não sei se você tem algum coral aí.
Get some amphipods, they'll help eat the algae, whatever kind it is. Could also try lights out for a week or so. Can't tell if you have any corals in there.
