Love the colors on this mushroom
Can someone help me identify these palys?
I ordered some pulsing Xenia from an out of state vendor and my shipment arrived yesterday. The packaging was excellent and shipping was fast. There was also a bonus mushroom included as a free gift, which is awesome (last picture). However, one of the Xenia frags also had an extra on it. I didn’t figure out it was palys until after everything had been dipped, rinsed, and added to my observation tank. I’ll plan to separate the palys and Xenia after they’ve all had a week to stabilize in the tank. Thank you to TiA Corals, in Deerpark, NY, for the awesome online experience!

Does this good to keep torches a frogspawn mushroom and zoa
Mushrooms - Under appreciated by a lot of people. Required regular trimming to avoid uncontrollable spreading throughout the tank
Zoanthids & mushroom Garden
Week 5 and 6! I have definitely learned a lot the last 2 weeks with the help of some amazing experts in the field. They were hard to find as not a lot of people that are sellers take marine husbandry serious. My parameters were stalling and the advice to add more of the RIGHT bio media and some more bacteria saw my nitrites drop within 24 hours finishing my cycle. Some more water changes to come before fish but my first corals are in deviating from the original two planned to allow some learning. Mushrooms allowed me to learn corals opening and closing, rocks and frag plugs and what glue works and doesn’t; which corals can be glued to frags and which can’t and a whole lot of trial and error before getting things right.
Can someone tell me if this is okay I just moved my rocks and corals
Orange torch
Yellow zoas

Reef Tank Fun Fact #1
Did you know that mushroom corals can choose to move out from where they stick themselves into if they feel uncomfortable or even want to reproduce?
