I wanna ask whats the best positioning for my soon to be placed corals and some macroalgae

Tank setup:

*10G

*1 warty frog fish

*canister filter (mechanical, chemical, carbon)

*Water flow is variable so i can just change the current

*RO water already

I was planning to add:

*pulsing xenia/kenya tree will be placed behind rock to not over populate

*red/purple/ or any dark colored zoan

*and some macroalgae not sure what other type to add since i am still looking for red, pink, purple or dark colored type to match the rock and theme

Don't mind the middle rock in front i just did not take it out since my warty likes that rock and mostly stays on that rock that was from his old rock formation before deciding to add corals and adding bigger rocks

A sad weed. I thought it melted last night but today has come back to life-some? I am hoping it pulls through- as this is my first slat tank with supposedly easy beginner corals. I think the macro algae is hogging all the nutrients in this pico 5 gallon so maybe this one doesn’t have a chance?

I have gravel in my tank and it’s causing my zoa to have some algae problems so iv moved it up my rocks.. is it better to change to sand? But if so will I still have problems with it. Because as of now I can’t put anything on there.

To knowledgeable refeers, Two part questions. 1. What is that coming out of the Duncan corals mouth 2. Is the fuzzy filament on the rock filamentous algae vs bryopsis or something else entirely? Thank you.

I’m new to keep coral and I’m willing to learn. My torch coral wont open up and my Goni hasn’t fully opened up yet. I feed reef roids, Goni power and reef energy plus once a week and when I do the algae in the tank go nuts. What am I doing wrong and what can I change to fit stuff.

Noticed some new growth on my waving hand athelia and algae is being eaten or firing down. Assuming both of these are good signs. Noticed I have lower levels for about a week til alk rises where it’s supposed to be. I do a water change every 2 weeks.
