My little Inkblot (bottom left) found a way to jump out of the tiny crack between the screen and the side of the tank at 4:00 this morning. 😭 We found him all dried up on the floor when we came out for breakfast at 7 am. I’m so sad! He was so pretty! Figuring out how to close the gap now. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I didn’t think it was big enough to worry about. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

Copperband update… 👀

Making progress.

He’s officially off brine and now eating live oysters way more aggressive feeding than I expected.

But… the tangs are on him.

• Purple Tang leading the charge

• Bristletooth backing him up

Tried the mirror trick helps while it’s there… then they remember him again 😅

And yeah… I went for it.

He’s now in the general population 😂

So far he’s holding his own, staying active, and still eating, but definitely getting tested.

Not calling it a win yet… this fish has humbled me before.

For those who’ve kept one long term—

when did you release yours?

Did aggression ever fully stop?

Picked up this little gem. The first 2 days were rough, the springer was going after her. She's settled in a cave and is swimming freely around it now. The springer seems to have lost interest thankfully. Her tail is beat up but she's all colored up nice and eating fine. I've had several over the years, one of my favorite fish to keep. Colorful, active and in my experience peaceful for a damsel.

Got me a Foxface in today. I shop all my fish at Trinh Fish and Corals. It’s where I got my XL Blue hippo tang from also that is 6 inches. All fish are healthy and do not use any water from the bag of you have corals cause they do contain copper where they make sure the fish are clean before shipping to you

Citrus goby is being a picky eater

Only eating live brine shrimp. Though picture doesn’t show, he seem very skinny and all bones while I couldn’t feed him live food while I was on vacation. I have tried hikari gumbo, frozen brine, garlic infused pellet, flake fish food without success. Any recommendation on what else I can do?

My clown fish is not doing good! I’ve had my tank for about two weeks now. Gill is swollen and have white spot! Note I have two clown fish and only one is sick. What should I treat my new tank with?

We’ve made it 5 days so far into treatment! Still swimming and eating normally with minimal spots. She’s still swimming, eating and breathing normally. I’ll take the success where I can get it! Super optimistic about her. We’ve decided we can name her now- Hera. All of our fish have deity names haha.
