6 month update!!
I have new corals ordered. My gha problem is completely gone with nothing more than limiting the light in my sump and a solid clean up crew. It took time but worked! The coraline algea took off on its own after I got a piece of coral with some on the frag too. I got the anemone about 2 months in as a little bitty baby no more than a quarter size. It's gotten so big!
Pretty happy with it so far. I'm ready to get the new frags in there and maybe another fish or two.
Update on the tank finally got that hair algae to leave
We fought off an algae outbreak and are coming back strong
Added a new inhabitant. Hopefully he helps with the algae!
Chaeto in the Refugium!
New member of the Clean Up Crew! I was told the black spot Foxface will eat bubble algae and they’re doing a great job on hair algae so far. I have plans to upgrade to a 1200 in the next 4-5m so they’ll have more room as they grow.
A video of my gonis looking good, hair algae is getting better and my nutrients have been bottoming out.
The only downside to a bare bottom tank is the unsightly algae 😂🤦
Got some caulpera prolifera today and this anacropora frag.
Just finished our Saturday maintenance… I added two zebra turbo snails last weekend to combat some algae on the rock. Those two cleaned it up nicely already! Will be adding more coral in the next 2 weeks and getting the clowns their bubble tip anemone!
Don't judge the algae
Just did a water change and test! GHA gone!
