Description
The Blue Devil Damsel is a vibrant, brilliantly colored saltwater fish. It is popular in the aquarium trade due to its hardiness and beautiful blue coloration. This fish has a bright blue body with a yellow belly and a dark stripe running from the eye to the pectoral fin.

Environment
These fish prefer a tank with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming space. They thrive in tanks with live rock for grazing and hiding. They need a stable environment with consistent temperature and salinity.
Behavior
Blue Devil Damsels are generally active and can be quite territorial, especially towards smaller, less aggressive species. They are known for their bold nature and will often be seen swimming openly in the tank.

After 3 weeks, I managed to kill it, but my ammonia was too high for too long. Totally my fault. She ate almost out of my hand. She was pretty active, but not quite as much as clowns. She hid more when she started suffering.

This fish is always swimming around and I haven’t had any issues with it being aggressive. It is in a 125 gallon so idk if that’s what helps with its temperament but it has been a model citizen fish.

They can pick on smaller tank mates, but usually it’s not an extended problem. They have really great color and look beautiful under all types of lights
