Description
The Blue Dot Stingray, also known as the Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray, is a strikingly beautiful marine species known for its vibrant blue spots and streamlined body. It is commonly found in the shallow waters of the Indo-Pacific region, often inhabiting sandy bottoms and coral reefs.

The Blue Dot Stingray requires a large aquarium with a soft sandy substrate to prevent injury to its delicate underside. The water should be well-oxygenated and maintained at a temperature between 75-82°F with a pH of 8.1-8.4.
Behavior
This species is generally solitary and spends much of its time buried in the sand, with only its eyes and spiracles visible. It is a nocturnal predator, becoming more active at night.
