Description
The Lemon Tang, also known as the Mimic Lemon Peel Tang, is a vibrant yellow fish that is popular in the aquarium trade due to its striking color and active behavior. This saltwater fish is native to the Indo-Pacific region and is known for its ability to change its color from a light yellow to a dark brown depending on its mood.

Yes. Lemon Tangs are generally safe for reef aquariums but may nip at large-polyped stony corals and clam mantles.
Environment
Lemon Tangs require a well-filtered aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and open space for swimming. They prefer a brightly lit tank with moderate to high water movement.
Behavior
Lemon Tangs are active swimmers and require plenty of space to roam. They are generally peaceful but can be territorial with other tangs and similar species.
