Description
The Silverlined cardinalfish is a small, nocturnal marine fish with a slender silvery body marked by subtle horizontal lines. It is commonly found hovering in loose groups around reef structures and sheltered areas, making it a peaceful addition to suitably calm community saltwater aquariums.

Requires a stable saltwater aquarium with good water quality, moderate flow, ample live rock or caves for shelter, subdued to moderate lighting, temperature around 72-78F, pH 8.1-8.4, and salinity around 1.020-1.025.
Behavior
Peaceful and somewhat shy, often hovering in the water column near rockwork or caves. It may do best singly, as a bonded pair, or in a carefully managed group with plenty of shelter.
