Description
The Striated Frogfish is a cryptic ambush predator with a warty, highly camouflaged body that can mimic sponges, rocks, or algae. It uses a modified dorsal spine as a lure to attract prey and can swallow surprisingly large fish or crustaceans whole. Color varies widely from yellow, red, brown, green, black, or mottled patterns.

Behavior
Solitary, sedentary ambush hunter that spends much of its time perched and motionless, striking prey rapidly when in range. May eat any tank mate small enough to fit in its mouth.
