Description
The Threadfin cardinalfish is a small, elegant Indo-Pacific cardinalfish with a silvery body, long trailing fin filaments, and subtle striping. It is a calm, schooling species that does best in peaceful marine aquariums with plenty of swimming space and shaded areas.

Stable saltwater conditions with a temperature of 74-80 F, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.023-1.025, low ammonia and nitrite, and moderate water flow. Provide rockwork, dimmer areas, and a peaceful tank environment.
Behavior
Peaceful and social, often kept in groups. It tends to hover in the water column, especially near rockwork or sheltered areas, and may be shy when first introduced.
