I’m sorry he didn’t make it. We always fresh water dip any new fish before adding to our system. Especially fish who are likely to carry ich or velvet. But only for around 10 minutes, with an air stone and pump, then into salt water to acclimate to tank, the we use an acclimation box. Rest in peace buddy! 🥺

I would quarantine, it’s important to have a little back up tank for it…I wouldn’t do a fresh water dip unless he’s not eating and active, I would dose prazipro and soak their food with prazipro and garlic to see if that works first
I just did the dip he’s swimming off balance
Yeah it kinda makes them disoriented for a while
