Got a new clown after the black/white male killed the other one. My LFS advised trying a female next, and so far I think we’re on a better path! 🤞🏻 The male was doing the twitching thing since the moment we introduced her, and they’ve been swimming peacefully since. Have a cleaner shrimp arriving this week then we are fully inhabited! On to corals next! Trying to decide if I want to do an anemone for the clowns with some soft corals, or just all soft corals… 🤔

Looks awesome so far! Your clowns look super happy and I love your rockwork. I just added my first corals a couple months ago and it’s so fun picking which ones to try. Do you think you’ll go with an anemone right away or start with softies? I still get nervous about the anemones but they look amazing with clowns.
Thank you!!! I have some supplies coming this weekend to start adding corals, I’m so excited! The two clowns are adorable together, they get along soooo well and cuddle under one of the rock ledges every night. I’m definitely planning on getting an anemone for them. Probably going to start with some soft corals, and will add the anenome in a few months. Im also a bit intimidated by them… Ive only ever cared for fish and inverts so this is all new territory for me! So exciting tho and I’ve been really enjoying the process!
That sounds so fun! Your clowns sound adorable lol mine cuddle too. Good call starting with softies, I did the same. Which ones are you thinking of trying first? I still watch like 10 vids before adding any new coral 😂
Omg me too, I swear I getting myself more overwhelmed from the choices the more YouTube videos I’m watching 🤣 I think my firsts are going to be a toadstool, some zoas for color and a duncan! Just debating now whether to get them at my LFS (so I don’t have to wait 😆) or Live Aquaria… LA just sometimes sells out of certain ones quickly!
