What is everyone doing for backup power? I have a generator for when I'm here to hook up, but what is everyone doing if your not home? If I'm at work and the power goes out to get me until I get home. I was looking at the eco flow Delta 2 to run my return pump and heater. Will the Delta 2 automatically switch to battery if power goes out? My tank is only 20 gallons so it looses heat fast.

living on a prayer and a generator
Lol
I use a battery backup outlet strip from Amazon basics, so half of my plugs turn on automatically when power is cut. Lasts me about 2-3 hours for pump and heater being powered. For more, Iโve heard the ecotech marine vortech battery backups are a great option that can last days and give your tank circulation and air if you position it high up
solid choice! ecoflowโs clutch ๐

I have an APC battery back up with my return pump and heater plugged into it. I got it from Amazon for less than $100.
How long will it run?
I used an amp calculator online: about 11 hours (but thatโs with the heaters running nonstop. That buys me plenty of time to run home (if Iโm at work) and fire up my generator. If Iโm in vacation or something Iโm fooked, but it might be long enough for the power to be repaired.
