Question, I’m a beginner and don’t have a RO/DI machine yet. What should I top off my saltwater aquarium with water that has evaporated? Treated water where I add some drops of water conditioner or distilled water?

If you don’t have distilled and you know you tap isn’t hard. Tap water with a conditioner such as seachem prime will work fine.

Distilled water is definitely safer, but if you’re in a pinch temporarily using dechlorinated tap water shouldn’t be a problem

I get RODI water from my LFS will be getting RODI system soon I would not recommend tap water to be used at all it harbors a lot of bad stuff plus silicates which will be bad news
