I waited last minute and washed all my filter socks yesterday and am now going sockless on the sump while they air dry outside for a few days. I washed them with a cap full of bleach and ran them through an extra rinse. Would it be okay to rinse one out with RO water to get any chlorine out so I can put one back in the sump or not a good idea?

I’ve rinsed filter sponges in tap water and afterwards filled a small bowl with RODI water, rinsed well in it, then used a second bowl of fresh RODI water to rinse again which may be overkill. Never had issues

I would add a heavy dose of prime to the RODI water. It's a dechlorinator.
