ugh bubble algae sucks good luck
been there with bubble algae!
Professor polyps bubble bath is a dip but also can be dosed in dt. Its h2o2 based. It claims to deal with bubble alge, other algeas and pests without harm to fish inverts or anemones and corals. I use it. It takes time.
I saw your comment but don't see it here. You dose your dt. I just used my dose pump and emptied out a h2o2 bottle and drilled a hole in top. Here is instructions from vendor. To dose the dip directly to your tank, dose 1.5-2.5 mL per 10 gallons of water, twice per day. Take out carbon when dosing. Dosing dip directly to the tank as directed will not kill or damage any livestock. It will help reduce nitrates and phosphates, kill nuisance algae, and help your corals grow faster and be more colorful. It will help get rid of hair algae, bubble algae, and other types of nuisance algae, but leaves macroalgae in tact. Results can take 6-8 weeks of consistent dosing to see a significant decrease in nuisance algae.
I replied then realised what you said so deleted it. Went to have a look online and then forgot to come back here 🤣
