TANGS - how much/often should they be fed? Online giving mixed opinions.

Currently they eat seaweed, mysis, brine shrimp, dry pellets multiple times a day, everyday.

After feeding they act like they haven’t been fed in weeks, the others in the tank barely get a look in when it comes to feeding. Would welcome others thoughts.

I feed mine seaweed once a day and frozen mysis once every other day. I also have a pellet feeder that goes off 3x a day mainly to keep my anthias happy. Just like dogs, fish will always beg. If you don’t see any aggression and your fish are not too thin I wouldn’t manually feed multiple times per day.

He's right! Fish don't have the same instinct we do that tells us we are full. In the wild they forage and hunt 24/7! Your fish should be fine with daily feeding the Nori is great to keep your tangs sated! The more you feed the more you need to worry about waste export (water changes ect.) So find the balance of healthy happy fish and not muddling the water!
