As Billy mentioned, flow definitely looks high. One thing I’ve noticed with my Euphyllia is that them being open or closed is not as important to their health as their flesh band is. It is hard to see, but this torch doesn’t appear to have a great flesh band, and often when the flesh recedes into the head, it is game over for the coral. I would move this torch into lower flow if possible and feed him daily. If you check out my post history, you can see a hammer I brought back from the brink like this

Awesome torch. The flow seems a little too aggressive imo. Just keep an eye on it if it doesn’t extend as much.
See I thought the same thing but so far it’s been out and happy! The seller had it in a SPS dominated tank with high flow so it must be used to it..
Ok you’ll probably be good then. I have seen torches in real high flow. Mine just don’t like it as much. Great username btw! These one name handles with be rare one day haha
Yea well we will see! And thanks! Got on this app when you first mentioned it on reddit probably a year ago.. Definitely will get big eventually.
That’s the plan. I’ll be announcing ReefBay’s first coral giveaway next week. Stay tuned!
