You will regret wanting/getting it in about 6 months 😂
I had the same struggle at first! Make sure your alk, calc, and mag are in the right range and stable since coralline loves good water chemistry. If you can find a little scrap of live rock or even a snail shell with some coralline on it, just put it in and give it some patience. It really takes off once it gets going!

Takes time, it also needs to be introduced into your tank. You can sometimes get it on snail shells or on frag plugs. If you are getting frags, etc. it will eventually be introduced that way, or get a piece of a rock with it on it already from a friend or your LFS. They do sell coraline algae in a bottle, but there no guarantee it will work either. Your water parameters have to be in the correct range for coraline to grow. If you have any urchins, it will take it even longer to grow as urchins love coraline algae.
