let the uglies pass before you get more coral, at least the pricer lps. find someone with some coralline to seed your tank.

The tank has already passed the uglie stages like a year ago and this is the first algae I’ve got in a long time

A bad ass clean up crew will help! I got about 12 in my tank and they get the job done .

Turbo snail, hermit crabs or nassarius snails (not both, hermits will kill the little snails for their shells)
