5 hours after the Hygger heater controller cooked my tank killing thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars

😢 how does that happen…? Fairly new to this and want to do anything to prevent that

Sadly the controller that controls my heater failed and my heater went up to 96 degrees. Get yourself a good heater and a WiFi controller that can tell you if your temp gets out of where you set it. It’s worth the cost. I lost 9k in 5 hours. 3 fish survived barely. Thank god I have a 75 tank running in living room was able to save them. Everything else died that quickly

No inkbird? That’s really unfortunate, sorry for the loss.

It had the Hygger heater control which is like the inkbird. It actually melted the power strip so must have shorted out
