Does anyone know what this transparent bug looking thing is? I’ve seen it crawling around a few times at night only

They're the best cleanup crew. I wish more people knew to seed their tank with these before they get anything else in them. Their tanks would be in so much better shape and not end up with old tank syndrome. Especially good with the corals cuz they'll eat all the crap out from in between them

Scuds. Amphipod, they are a detritivore. They're good to have. You can actually cultivate them for food. Pretty easy to do too. Especially in freshwater. Just throw them in a jar with something for them to chow breed like crazy

No. There's a freshwater variant. They're incredibly easy too culture.
