What. Are. These.

I’m kinda freaked out by the fact that there are random worms living in my sand.. please help me id these. Are they bad for my tank? Will they hurt me or any tank mates? There’s so many ‼️😬

Looks like harmless bristle worms. I don’t enjoy seeing them either but is part of the hobby. A wrasse will hunt them down and keep the population low. A six line wrasse with probably do well in your 30g as they stay pretty small.

They are just cleaning up the detritus. Not sure of your feeding, but watch how much you feed your fish. Only enough for them to eat, nothing more.

I feed pellets everyday except the day I feed mysis, and frozen mysis once a week.

Dorvilleidae worms. Dont get any bigger and are harmless. Not like typical bristleworms
