Wanna ask if how much light does it need to start growing corals and macroalgae, planning to build a red and white theme

Most corals needs more blue, while macroalgae needs more red. Perhaps if you want to balance it out, try high blue, medium green, medium red, less violet. Beware of diatoms and hair algae from the high green though.

For a nano setup like your Frog Kingdom, I’d recommend starting with moderate PAR around 100 to 150 to keep corals happy without stressing them. Blue spectrum is key for SPS and most LPS, but you’ll want a good amount of red light to help macroalgae thrive in your theme. Are you thinking mostly
