Mine does that sometimes too. Usually chills out after lights ramp down or if flow changes. How’s your sandbed looking?
Got some algae growing but otherwise good dropped in two sand sifter stars and so far half the tank is crystal white he did go back to usual maybe 10 minutes after I took the picture
