What’s a reasonable amount of corals you can fit in a nano reef tank? Mine is 16g. Trying to figure out my max. Gonna have two mocha gladiator clowns in here tomorrow

I would say maybe a smaller goby of some sort along with your clowns
Can have like 2 clowns and goby and pistol shrimp and around 15 -20 corals depending on what u have probably 12 if get anemone for clowns
Can get a lot of Zoas a Kenya tree hammers, long list can fit in there
The quicker you run out of room, the quicker you can upgrade!! That's my plan. 😁 I like your rockscape. Should look good. I have about 25 frags/small colonies in my 27g. So maybe a little over half that? 15 maybe.
Hey guys. Little update on the tank. So far I’ve got a Duncan, a green birdsnest, 2 zoas (back left rock on other side) and my clowns. I’ve also ordered a neon green mushroom and a green hairy ___ something lol. They should be here tomorrow. You may be able to see the goby too. But I’m kinda feeling like the tank needs a royal gramma. What do yall think? I think it would add some much needed color. And that will be last fish
Yo that 16g gonna fill up quick. Flow and placement gonna be key!
Your rock work looks like a great start for some coral placement! With two mocha gladiator clowns in a 16 gallon, I’d keep the coral count moderate and focus on smaller LPS or softies that won’t overcrowd the space or compete too much for flow.

I’m a noobie. So I’m no expert. But I have a 20 gallon aio tank. 16g in the display tank. And I have about 15 corals in there right now and I’m feeling pretty satisfied. They are mostly pretty small frags cause I’m only a few months in. But there’s room for them to grow but most of the zones are full. Lots of mouths to catch extra food. That being said. I kinda rushed some things and got some dull corals that I donated back to the world. So feel free to take your time and wait for sweet deals and corals that sing to you. Cool stuff pops up if you’re patient.
