genuine question… anyone had success ordering livestock from this app’s marketplace? I need one more coral to finish the list I made when I set out on this journey. my LFS guys he doesn’t like to mess with it so I really don’t know what else to do, if I’m really determined to have it. it’s firework clove polyp. but I have no idea who these vendors here are, how risky shipping a coral is, how it would be to work with seller if any issues, or other considerations I don’t even know about. it’s really hot here in tx so being in the truck or delivered to my door while I’m at work… I just don’t know…

I’ve had both good and bad luck ordering corals online so I totally get your hesitation. Firework clove polyps are pretty hardy but shipping in Texas heat can be rough even with cool packs. If you do go for it I’d ask the seller about their DOA policy and see if they can ship to a FedEx or UPS

Sellers will put cooling packs if you’re in a hot climate. But yeah you don’t want to let it sit in the box too long. Best to get the package as soon as it arrives.
