ReefBay profile for the fish also says that I can

I don't see why not. I have one in my 200l (42 gallon) tank, and he's got more than enough room. Just be cautious because I know they say they're peaceful, but mine is definitely an outlier. That aggression would obviously be exacerbated in a smaller tank.

I’m going to keep it with a pair of clowns, pistol shrimp, yellow watchman goby and possibly a tailspot blenny

90l should be okay just make sure you got plenty hiding spots and good flow for your wrasse

Yea I’m going to either get a new or another powerhead, going to do 2 islands

Hey @LeedsReefer! I’ve kept a McCoskers wrasse in a tank around that size before and honestly they can do okay in 90 liters but it’s kinda the lower limit for them. They’re super active swimmers and like to dart around a lot so a taller tank with plenty of open swimming space really helps. Also they can get a bit nippy towards smaller or slower fish sometimes so just keep an eye on your clown and goby if you add one. Since you’ve got a nano reef with lots of zoas, your flow and lighting probably won’t be an issue since wrasses don’t bother corals much. Just make sure your lid is

Yea I’m going to upgrade before I get one, doing 2 islands and keeping it with yellow watchman goby pistol shrimp and a pair of clowns, possibly a tailspot blenny

Nice plan! Two islands setup sounds sweet for the wrasse’s zoomies. Just watch that tailspot blennythey can

I've had a flasher wrasse (filamented) in a 100l tank for about a year. If anything he's the most docile fish in the tank. He's in with x2 clowns, a coral beauty, yasha goby+shrimp, a Midas blenny and a mandarin so similar crew to what you're after.

Thanks for the advice, do you think there are any other fish I could keep or just stick with my planned livestock

User Avatar @LeedsReefer 21d

Filamenteds are larger I think anyway

I think your stocking list is good. The blenny is a good shout as they are awesome character fish. Pictus blenny also super cool. Christmas goby is another cool nano fish. Just give it time between fish for the bacteria to catch up.

Yea I’m probably going to add the wrasse last but that will be last year because I’m going to a marine show and getting my coral first
