Help! My pH has crashed since I started carbon dosing. I’m already dosing kalkwasser and have two CO2 scrubbers. Anyone have any ideas how to get it back above 8.2?

I run a CO2 scrubber and can never get over 8.1. Honestly 8 is a great PH. Anything over 7.8 can sustain coral growth. I wouldn’t worry too much about trying to get way over 8 unless you are growing high end acros
That makes me feel better thank you. I’ve been chasing the 8.3 pH dragon as of late…
Bro you got more scrubbers than the tang police lol. pH looks fine honestly
For sure , I agree . Your freaking out for no reason
I drank the 8.3 pH Kool-Aid a few months ago.
What's your alk at ?
10.0 🫣. I’m still dialing in kalkwasser + All For Reef. I sold a huge frag of Xenia to my local fish store and it threw off my balance.
Something here is off. Id try new test kit for ph. Ph and alk have a direct relationship. If your alk is at 10 so.ethings forcing your ph down. Id check your carbon dosing and water change %.
🤔
Why do you want your ph above 8.2? Mine runs 8.0-8.1
Corals grow up to 50% if you can maintain 8.3 according to a BRS investigates report.
Oh my corals are growing nicely
Everything in my tank is doing great at a 8.0-8.1
Beautiful tank 😍
Thank you
Mystery was solved, my pH probe was off by .12. Thanks everyone!

My ph is 8.1-8.0 and I carbon dose with vodka for like a year. You might be over dosing the carbon a little possibly
I think you’re onto something. I’m going to dial it back and see how it goes. Thank you.
