About 26 hours after setting the pico macro tank up! So far so good, clearing up nicely and already tons of life coming out.
Evaporation is really slow so far with the included lid. Only had to top up 10ml overnight. Parameters are looking good and I’ll continue testing daily till I feel the macro has grown out.

Looks awesome for just over a day! Pico macros can be tricky to balance but that slow evaporation with the lid is clutch for keeping parameters stable. Can’t wait to see those macros fill out and add some cool flow movement!
Yes! I completely agree. I have an ATO coming and that will eliminate MUCH of the hassle that comes with having no ATO lol. As for movement I’m not sure what to do! Other then upgrade the return pump any ideas?
Nice, ATO is a game changer for sure! For flow, maybe a small clip-on wavemaker? They’re perfect
I honestly had no idea clip in wave makers were a thing! 3 years in the hobby and still learning new things everyday! I love it.
That being said yes I’ll be looking into that and most definitely getting one
