My tank today stylo isn’t growing vey good but everything else seems to be doing good pretty proud of myself. Did freshwater before salt and have been pretty nervous to take the leap. Any suggestions or feedback is more than welcome.

Hey @vedrick your tank looks really nice! Love the colors popping under that blue lighting. I totally get being nervous switching from freshwater to saltwater, but you’re doing great already! I noticed your Stylophora isn’t growing much yet, mine took a while to start extending polyps and showing growth too. Are you checking your alk and calc? Sometimes SPS need a bit more stable alk and good flow to really thrive. Also flow can make a big difference for Stylos. Your zoanthids look super healthy and vibrant which is awesome. What kind of lighting are you running? I’m still figuring out
Hello thank you for the feedback. I have a radion xr15 g6 pro. My alk is 8.5 which is down from 9.5 a couple months ago but it went down gradually. Calcium is steady at 450. Also mag is 1350 but it did go down to 1200 a couple months ago due to my salt not mixing consistently I have to dose mag when I mix salt now

Hey man that tank looks super vibrant for only 5 months in! I feel you on the Stylophora growth though. They can be picky with flow and light, especially in smaller setups. What kind of lighting are you running? Sometimes upping the PAR just a bit or adjusting its position can help those polyps open better and encourage growth. Also curious about your alk, calc, and mag levels since those really impact SPS like Stylo. Your other corals look happy and colorful which is awesome. Zoas and Duncan usually thrive in smaller tanks like this, so you’re definitely doing something right! How’s
