Good morning reefers. Can anyone describe what’s going on with my tangs back and top fin, also losing color around the face . It’s not from aggression or where he sleeps in the rocks .

I’m no expert I don’t even have a tank right now but when I did this happened to my fish ik my problem was Ich which is a parasite if I had to guess this is a parasitic problem like velvet or ich to fix you need to QT and treat with copper

I’ve had ich before and that’s not it . I’m sure of that, spent 6 months dealing with it so I know that’s not it . I thought it was from carbon but after removing it for weeks there was no change. It’s not getting worse and it’s not getting better. My latest icp came back at 91% and just needed a tweak of manganese and iodine . So water chemistry is fine . Al

That blue tang probs stressed or low on some vitals. Check water params and flow

Looks like fin rot to me. I havent had this issue but have herd of it. You may need to quarantine him and medicate to stop the progression. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in.
