I am not that familiar with waterbox aio design but typically the return chamber water level is lower than the other two. You can add the ato sensor to that section for best results. I assume its because water is off. As previously stated, filter floss after sock is not necessary, either or in the first chamber, but a better upgrade would be a filter roller such as the nanomat. middle chamber should fit skimmer, media, heater, and any other gadgets, like probes or a separate pump to run a reactor.
I put my heater in middle chamber the half of the top is sticking out the. And ATO is in the water pump (3rd) chamber is this ok?
as long as you dont have the water line above the minimum water line mark on the heater, should be fine. ato sensor in the 3rd chamber. Ato water line, doesnt matter where, I have biocubes and add it in to the second chamber so it can mix a little before entering the reef.
Ok thanks so much
Also thank you

So for filter floss it’s up to you, I personally don’t run it bc it clogs up quick so you’ll be changing it out a lot and I see you have a filter sock already so it’s kind of not needed, I would put a bag of biomedia (ceramic rings or de-nitrate) in that compartment and put the heater in there. The last compartment is where evaporation will happen so if you don’t have an ATO and you keep the heater there you run the risk of exposing it to air as water evaporates which will cause it to burn out and in worse case scenario possibly start a fire TLDR; I would figure out a way to get the heater in that middle compartment
Ok
Thanks
