Freshwater question: does anyone know what the white fur is on this piece of driftwood? I bought it used and dry from my LFS and cleaned in peroxide, vinegar, and soaking in water. No fish in the tank yet, it is still cycling.

UPDATE: based on the feedback and that I just put it in a new system, I just tossed the driftwood and bought new stuff. It seems like it’s not worth the risk

Could be water mold(white fuzz) I don’t know anything about it but that could be what it is, good luck solving it.
