Long time freshwater guy starting my first salt tank. Just started the cycle yesterday. Hopefully I’ll have more lively pics here in a few weeks.

Looks clean! Coralline pop is a good sign already.

There's no way a tank that's one day old can have coralline, unless live rock with it already in it was added. That's just slightly reddish epoxy.

Unfortunately coralline needs very stable parameters; from my experience working in an LFS, it usually appears around the 1-year mark in the tanks here.
