Started my very first tank this year (february '26). It has always been a dream to be able to join the saltwater hobby and after years of doubt I decided to go for it this year. The tank is far from mature after only running for about 7 months. The dry reef rock was leaking a lot and was a algea party for a long time. The tank is still pest free (that was the goal of the dryrock). I boosted the cycle with a litre of sand from a mature system which introduced copepods. This is a zero water change project. Snapped some photos of our corals around our 300l display the other day! Our Utter Chaos Zoas are doing crazy good, really want to frag them and get one into the nano! But I don’t know how to frag Zoa’s 🤣 Our green morph colony looks sick, and of course so do our fluffy morphs! Comment which one is your fav out of these photos! #reeflife #corals #softcoral #needmorecoral
And the experimental is doing quite well too!
A few more updates to this one!
