Summer hits and tank maintenance slides. It happens every year — water changes get pushed back, glass goes unwiped, and algae starts creeping in. If you’re going to let anything slip, make sure your cleanup crew is picking up the slack.

Cerith snails are one of the best investments you can make for a low-maintenance tank. They work every layer — substrate, glass, and rockwork — eating detritus, cyano, diatoms, film algae, and leftover food before it can fuel a bloom. They’re nocturnal too, so they’re putting in work while you’re not even looking!

How of doing people do a water change or how often should we do one. So my tank is about 4 months old now and have been doing a watcher change every two weeks. Its been through all it's cycles and now all readings are coming back perfect and salinity is also spot on. My question is do I need to keep doing a water change every two weeks if my reading are spot on or can a leave it a bit longer now ?

Thinking about upgrading to my first big tank. I know y'all see my nano, but my main question is how are y'all sourcing saltwater for these 50+ gallon tanks? Is it expensive/complex to have your own RO system?

Water change on the mbuna tank, also moved the plants (fake) back into position. Little gits moved them back within 30 minutes 😂
