Water change 05JAN2026 - primary purpose was to remove bryopsis accumulation on right rock formation. Took medium strength toothbrush and removed pineapple sponges and algae on rocks. Broke digitata frag twice during cleaning and glued frags to right rock formation. Rotated main digitata colony. Also glued smaller acro frag in place and adjusted and glued grafted monti cap in location. Need to get phosphates under control to minimize algae growth. Waiting for water turnover overnight before testing additional parameters.
Hello, my names Jazlyn. New to the app. Tanks about 10 months old, a year in feb. I’m extremely obsessed about learning new things and how I can better my tank. I do a water change every other week on Saturday of 5 gallons. I test the water every sun. I’m currently dealing what I think is bryopsis algae, if anyone has any tips on how I can get rid of it I’d highly appreciate it. I also bought a Duncan coral a day ago and it stayed closed all day today. I’m kinda concerned. I’ll leave a video below. Any tips are appreciated. Please don’t be rude as I’m still learning. Happy reefing! 😊
Ps, my waters cloudy due to a water change. No worries there 😁
Wish me luck as I try battle byropsis
Does anyone know what those hair looking things are on the left side of frag? Doesn’t look good

Orange passion looking fuzzy today !
-Just some more pics of different angles.
I think I’m getting some hair algae/bryopsis back. Never knew for sure which algae it was.
-Curious about the algae under my sand line, mainly just growing there.
-Found my smaller bubble tip in the sand bed today, not sure where it’s planning on going but that’s the first time I’ve seen it in the sand.
-Fed my corals today :)
