Cycle complete on the experiment! Added CUC and my first ever corals last night!! Also upgraded water flow from the nano internal skimmer to Fluval HOB- I didn’t like the space the skimmer was taking up and the HOB gives me more flexibility with carbon filtration option. Upgrade lighting arriving tomorrow!
Reef’s doing good. Still waiting on my orange lens kit to come in so it’s a little blue. Hammers are still annoyed since the mag dropped to around 1250 but the Ny Nicks torch is good.
Had to move my bubble he was taking over the whole front corner of the tank. He’s got more space back there now and he looks happy. My finger leather was also too big for the front of the tank. He’s mounted on a flat spot on the back and he’s happy and then of course the yellow tan was like what’s going on here. Very inquisitive.
Since I have been doing a lot light adjustment and really messing with my flow, this guy has become quite active, plus he did get some reef roids 😂 but he really has been quite fascinating to watch. Don’t mind the background noise
After adding a second mp10 in the back I had to move my torches down a little and re home my elegance to my 11 gallon Nemo tank. Everything should be in its forever spot now and I’d say the tank is full lol.
Added an Ocean Sea Pacific Sea Wave with a Nero 5 to the tank so I could introduce some more random flow. This perfectly compliments the four Jebao DMP40s and the corals are loving the extra water movement.
