🚀 Introducing Reef ID 🚀
Reef ID can identify 200+ species of saltwater fish and 130+ species of coral, and it will continue getting better every single week through reinforcement learning.
This is not a generic AI image tool like ChatGPT or Gemini. I tested those and they honestly did not work well enough for reef tanks. That is why I built a custom machine learning model from scratch, trained specifically on reef aquarium images.
Reef ID is included with the #DeepDive subscription, and I have also given everyone a handful of free credits so you can try it out.
Here’s a video of me using Reef ID live on my own tank 🤓
Sea hare
A nice little local, bleeding apple scoly
MONSTER bristleworm out tonight
Porcelain crab live rock hitchhikers. Ended up with about 10 so far!
Blue velvet nudibranch hunting for flatworms. They don't live very long, but work great for natural flatworm removal. One of those inverts you can watch cruise around for hours on end. Beautiful creatures!
Now that I know what these are… I hope they hatch so I don’t have to buy more! 😂🐌

Is this not the happiest aiptasia you’ve ever seen… look at that smile. Dude got about 3 weeks before the tank gets broken down. Figure I’ll let him continue to live his best life until then
Cespitularia is looking strong lately 💪
My tuxedo urchin spikey likes to pick up dove snails and even a loose zoa. The zoa is actually doing well and another head is sprouting!
Love seeing the random little hitchhikers
Spotted mandarin hunting flatworms in the mushroom field
