Description
A Hawaiian endemic fairy wrasse whose males show a golden-orange to flame-red body with bright red dorsal and fin markings, while females are a plainer pink-red with a dark spot near the tail base. Peaceful and active, it does best in a harem of one male with several females added together, with open swimming space plus rockwork crevices for refuge. It ignores corals and most invertebrates, but is an accomplished jumper, so a tightly sealed lid is essential.

One of my most favorite fish! Peaceful and active! I used to own a few of these beauties before the Hawaiian collection was shut down. If they ever become available it will be the first fish I will get.
