Description
The lined dartfish is a slender, torpedo-shaped reef fish known for its elongated body, subtle horizontal striping, and quick darting movements. It is a shy, open-water hoverer that relies on burrows or rock crevices for shelter and does best in peaceful marine aquariums with secure cover.

Behavior
Peaceful and somewhat timid; spends much of its time hovering in the water column near a retreat site and will dart into hiding when startled. Known to jump if frightened.
