Description
The Swissguard Basslet is a small, strikingly colored reef fish with a pale body, yellow to orange accents, and distinctive red striping around the head and eyes. It is a shy but attractive species that does well in peaceful marine aquariums with plenty of rockwork and hiding places.

Requires stable saltwater conditions, excellent water quality, moderate water movement, and plenty of live rock with caves and overhangs for shelter. Best kept in a well-established reef aquarium.
Behavior
Generally secretive and spends much of its time near caves and crevices in live rock. It may become more visible once acclimated and typically does well when kept singly.
