Description

The Yellowstripe cardinalfish is a small, slender cardinalfish with a silvery body marked by a distinct yellow stripe along the side. It is a nocturnal, reef-associated species that does well in calm community marine aquariums with plenty of shelter.

Behavior

Generally calm and often shy at first; tends to hover in sheltered areas during the day and becomes more active around dusk. Can be kept singly, in pairs, or in compatible groups if given space and hiding spots.
