Hello, just finished cycling my first tank and have added some corals.
This devils hand looks like he has two hitch hikers! One being the red little plant looking thing and a white hard snail looking fella who today has a 2-3 inch browns antenna coming out. Hard to see in the photo!
Also what is the mucus/film over the coral?
Are these friend or foe?
Thank you

Have you fed your coral reef roids or anything recently? They usually release mucus like this after being fed. White thing might be a stomatella snail which are harmless. But I’m not 100% sure. looks slightly different than ones I’ve seen Red might be a sponge.
Can’t say for the 2 hitchhikers, but I can say that for some leather corals, they make a mucus slime coat that they shed after a couple days, this happens when they are stressed, trying to remove something growing on the skin, and just periodically do it as well. I’m assuming you just added this leather so it’s probably just stressed from the move, give it a few days and ensure it has enough flow so it can sluff off the mucus layer.

Still new myself, think the white guy is a nudibranch maybe?
