Pest ID please! I noticed it this morning when one of my Zoa polyps wasn’t opening, next to it was this thing. It’s tiny and looks like a string with a ball at the end and tentacles that sway in the current. Should I remove it manually? The coral is on an island so it would be easy to pull it out and do a freshwater dip or something. Thanks for the help!

I think they’re hydroids, I have a bunch of them too and haven’t noticed any negative effects yet… they do seem to multiply rapidly though.
Thanks! I removed it manually while re-dipping the coral. We will see if more pop up.
