Has anyone had to deal with pop eye?
I have a few questions, can it spread to other fish in qt, what do you do to treat it?

Hey @Reefer27, I’ve had to deal with pop eye before in my quarantine tank. It can be contagious, especially if it’s bacterial, so keeping your qt isolated and stress low is key. I usually do a salt bath and add an antibiotic like erythromycin to the water. Make sure your water parameters are

Their shouldn’t be to much stress in the tank but I do have other fish in it that have velvet and I don’t have room or time to set up another qt tank 😬 will that be a problem? Can it kill fish quickly?

Pop eye can probs spread if water quality sucks. I usually bump alk and do salt baths with meds. You got good flow in qt? Helps a lot
I’ve been doing 100% water changes every 3 days and I just have an air stone but I’ve been treating copper due to velvet for about 3 days could that cause it?
