Wow lucky hitchikers! One of my favorites.

So far I’ve seen pink, purple and white colors! Came on rock from Tampa bay saltwater

They have some really nice color to them

Wait, you got porcelain crabs as hitchhikers

User Avatar @ctmck 48d

Check out Tampa bay saltwater. I got pistol shrimps, pithos crabs, Florida stony corals, clams, sponges, brittle stars, spaghetti worms, feather dusters, barnacles, and countless other thing I can’t even figure out. Definitely worth the price for the bio diversity.

How do all the pistol shrimps fair together

User Avatar @LeedsReefer 48d

Best thing I can get is a stomatella snail

Nice score with those porcelain crabs! They’re such underrated little cleanup crews and super fun to spot scuttling around the live rock. I’ve noticed they really help keep detritus down in my tanks too. You’ve got a great mix of mushrooms and polyps there, looks like they’re thriving with that setup. Do you find the crabs stick mostly around certain coral types or just all over the rockwork? Also curious if your flow setup helps keep them happy since they love that gentle current to grab food bits. Loving the natural vibe they add to the scape!
